Ramakrishnan<\/h5>\n<h5><b>Abstract<\/b><\/h5>\n<h5>This paper reports the influence of magnetic tunnel&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">junctions on the electrical response of an operational amplifier&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">(op-amp) circuit. As a baseline, the pure-CMOS operational amplifier&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">has been designed using the 180 nm semiconductor process&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">technology from the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ltd. and the test bench has been simulated to obtain circuit&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">performance metrics like open loop gain, phase, bandwidth and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">phase margin. The introduction of a magnetic element can upset&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">the electrical behavior and the same has been observed with the&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">introduction of Fe-MgO tunnel junction on the baseline electrical&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">behavior of the operational amplifier test bench. Possibilities&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">of connecting the tunnel junction to the different nodes of the opamp&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">test bench have been explored and the consequent drifts in&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">the electrical response have been studied in this paper. Furthermore,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">an attempt has been made to mirror the transistors in the&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">op-amp circuit with tunnel junctions and the consequent electrical&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">responses have been studied in this paper.
