During the first few years<\/span><\/h5><h5>following the establishment of the journal in 1997, he encouraged&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">many authors of the best papers presented at the&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">regional conferences to publish their work in the journal. He&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">served as Guest Editor for Vol. 2, No. 1. He also recommended&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">distinguished international scientists to contribute invited&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">papers, which significantly helped the journal gain recognition&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">relatively quickly, at first throughout the region of the former&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Yugoslavia and subsequently around the world.<\/span><\/h5><h5>On the occasion of Prof. Mili\u0107 Stoji\u0107&#8217;s 70th birthday, we&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">dedicated Vol. 15, No. 1 of the journal to him.
